Stranger Things Season Three has been Confirmed

With two months still to go before we return to the 80s most unlucky town of Hawkins (what with all the monsters), the hype for season two of Stranger Things is reaching fever pitch. The show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers, decided to fan the fandom flames with a good news bad news type situation. The creators have just announced that season three has been commissioned, but the show is likely to end after season four.

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross told NYM. “We just have to keep adjusting the story,” said Matt. “Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”

While the Duffer Brothers have talked about having up to five seasons in past interviews they did recognise that the idea of Hawkins having to deal with monsters every year might affect the populace.

“They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town!” said Ross. “It’s ridiculous!”

In other news, Millie Bobbie Brown, who plays Eleven (aka the internet’s daughter), has spoke about her return to the show, and her surprise that said return was ever in doubt.

“Really? Oh, wow. No, I am back, as strong as ever,” she told Deadline in a recent interview. “I am very excited to be back with my family again. Honestly, I’m really excited for everyone to see it. It’s so much deeper and darker than last year, but I’m very excited for you to watch it. It’s also great because it’s Netflix, so you get to do it in one go, which is my favourite thing in the world.”

“It’s crazy how deep they get into things, but I love every single fan and every single fanatic out there that has supported the show since day one. It’s very interesting to hear their theories, and sometimes I’m like, ‘OK.’ Sometimes, they’re right, and I send it to the directors. I’m like, ‘Wow, you should sort this out.'”

She also gave some vauge hints about what fans can expect from season two:

“All the answers are out there. You just have to piece them together. I recommend watching season 1 again and then going into season 2 so you really know what everything means,” she added. “Because season 2 couldn’t be there without season 1.”

Well, we were all going to re-watch season one anyway.

Have your say!
